What next?

It has come to my attention that the Velocette name is owned by someone who cares very much about the brand. I have no wish to usurp the ownership of the Velocette name or the logo. Accordingly, I have changed the logo for this site, and I'm no longer using the Velocette logo that I had obtained from here. I have initiated contact with the owner via snail mail. It is my intention to allow this site to rest for a few weeks to see if I hear back from him. Before I continue with this, I would prefer that he be fully aware of what is going on here.

When I hear back from him, I will know how to proceed. It is my hope that we will then be able to continue discussions here. I would like to thank those of you who have already joined this site as well as all those who have visited. I am not yet giving up hope that new Velocette motorcycles will be built again.
